Join us this Friday March 8th at our new home at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Burlington, for our March members meeting. St. Matthew’s is located at 126 Plains Road East, Burlington, Ontario, L7T2C3.
Our guest speaker will be Dave Cotterell. Dave is a retired high school teacher, and has been a passionate observer for his entire life. He specializes in observing Double Stars and will graciously share his hard-won insights and vast knowledge of Double Stars with us.

Dr. Sasse will be joining us through Zoom to talk about remote imaging using telescopes located in some of the most pristine night skies around the world.

Join us this Friday, December 8th for our regular monthly meeting!
There is no speaker this month to allow time for our Seasonal Social. The meeting will start with announcements, Ann Tekatch will present the 2021-2022 financial statement and information will be shared about the 2 possible new venues for the club’s meetings. Members at the meeting will be given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts about the two possible locations, after which a final decision on our new venue will be made. Matthew Mannering will then present “The Sky this Month” which will be followed by the Seasonal Social.

Join us this Friday, November 10th for our regular monthly meeting!
The meeting will be available on Zoom as well as being available on YouTube after the meeting. The ZOOM address is available at the end of this invitation.
The speaker for our meeting is Doug Turner. Doug, editor of the HAA Celestial Events Calendar, will be presenting a preview of the new calendar. Members who have pictures in the calendar will be discussing their photos and club members will have an opportunity to ask questions.
The 2024 Celestial Events Calendar will be on sale at the meeting on Friday starting at the Break. $10 per calendar Cash or Cheque only. The calendars make great gifts. So, shop early! Online calendar sales will open at a later date.
