Join us this Friday, November 10th for our regular monthly meeting!   
 
The meeting will be available on Zoom as well as being available on YouTube after the meeting. The ZOOM address is available at the end of this invitation.

The speaker for our meeting is Doug Turner.  Doug, editor of the HAA Celestial Events Calendar, will be presenting a preview of the new calendar.  Members who have pictures in the calendar will be discussing their photos and club members will have an opportunity to ask questions.

The 2024 Celestial Events Calendar will be on sale at the meeting on Friday starting at the Break.  $10 per calendar Cash or Cheque only. The calendars make great gifts.  So, shop early! Online calendar sales will open at a later date.

The search for a new meeting location has been progressing and an update to members will be provided.

The monthly speakers have been booked and the list of speakers will be announced at the meeting.  Did you know that Canada is sending a rover to the moon?

Matthew Mannering will be presenting “The Sky this Month”.  Don’t forget to check out Steve Germann’s excellent “Sky this Month” article in the Event Horizon.

Doors open at 7:00 PM and the meeting begins at 7:30 PM sharp. For those not able to attend in person, we will be livestreaming the meeting on ZOOM for club members and will also be post the full meeting on our YouTube channel afterwards.
