Due to the lack of electricity onsite there are NO lectures, information sessions or workshops at the HAA Dark Sky Star Party.
Any activities listed below are completely optional.
Morning Cafe Saturday and Sunday Time: 9:30 am until 11:00 am

Coffee, hot water and tea bags will be available at the Gathering Tent for anyone looking for a hot beverage and a chat about the previous night’s observing. Bring your own mug, cup, spoon, etc. and any needed condiments. A donation jar will be available to help cover the cost of the coffee and tea.

Keppel Croft Gardens Saturday
Keppel Croft Gardens is open to the public and donations are accepted. The property includes four acres of gardens, a nature trail, an arboretum, and Keppel Henge.

E.S.Fox Observatory Saturday
The E.S. Fox Observatory is located on the Bluewater Outdoor Education site outside of Wiarton, Ontario. The observatory is operated by the Bluewater Astronomical Society. If the weather is agreeable a visit to the observatory for solar observing can be arranged.
Buffet Dinner Saturday September 20th, 2025 Time: 5:00pm
A camping-style catered buffet dinner will be organized at the Gathering Tent on Saturday. Cost is extra. Sign up will be available onsite. Please bring your own plates and cutlery. The buffet is optional. If you prefer, bring your own food and join the group for dinner.

Other Day Time Activities in the Area
