July 11

Hi I’m wondering if you are having a viewing event for the eclips August 21st? Can we look at it with our eyes? Do you know what time it will be in view?

Thank You

Hi Shanon, you should only observe the solar eclipse with proper equipment such as solar glasses. Do not view directly without protection. In Hamilton the eclipse will start August 21 at 1:09pm and end at 3:49pm. You’ll be able to see 70% of the Sun covered by the Moon at 2:31pm. We will be holding an eclipse event at T.B.McQuesten Park, 1199 Upper Wentworth St, Hamilton @ 12:30 – 4:00pm.
